Bongs are easy to make, and once you get started, you realize you can make a homemade bong out of pretty much anything. The most common type and easiest to make is a simple pipe. Not really a bong, but who cares?. This is what you'll need for making a homemade bong ( or rather pipe):
1. 1 20oz plastic bottle.
2. 1 pen (Bic work the best)
3. A little bit of tinfoil (spring for a wire and a bowl on your next head shop visit)
4. Marijuana, tobacco, or anything else worth smoking.
1. take the pen and poke it through the side of bottle about halfway up the side.
2. take the pen apart until all you have is the shaft. Put the shaft through the hole angled down.
3. take cap off the bottle. Take the tinfoil and mold it into the mouth of the bottle. It should be recessed into the mouthpiece.
4. take a small sharp object (sewing pin, back of an earring, whatever. I use a saftey blade) and poke holes in the tinfoil.
Now place your mix of choice on top of the tinfoil, light, and suck through the straw. You are now on your way to being a certified homemade bong technician.
A few things here.
Don't use this bong forever. Homemade bongs and pipes are great but, tin foil and plastic is just bad for you. This is cool for when you don't have any other option. Spring for the real deal.
1. First make sure that mix is well broken up. Get rid of all those stems. 2. Next, distribute your mix. I like and even mix, but cones tend to smoke more smoothely. How you layout your mix will determine the shape. 3. Some people like to put a a roach (filter/place holder)in. It's kinda like a place holder. and it can regulate the shape for you. 4. Now for the 'tricky' bit. Pick everything up and start in the middle, rolling OUTWARDS. Let your thumbs do most of the work and give support and pressure with your forefingers. You should start to feel the mix getting frim inside the paper. 5. When you have the consistency you like, lick the top and press it down. 6. Wrap all excess paper around the joint, and seal it.
Tips The best joints are firm but not so tight you have to bust a lung drawing smoke. Loose joints taste REALLY rough, they burn too fast and have a nasty habit of setting light to your clothes and furniture

Ok peeps. Today's installment as all about rolling blunts. Now the name "blunt" comes from Phillies Blunt, but you can use and cheap ass cigar for this.

Things you'll need:
Your mix
A cigar. I prefer Phillies or Dutch Masters when I feel like doing all that work
knife. I like to use a knife or safety razor. Purists use their fingers
Grinder (optional) I find that a good grinder is worth it and it can store weed for a bit.
The steps
Lick the blunt all over. It needs to get moist, but don't soak it. If you only lick one side, it has a tendency to break apart.
Find the corner of the blunt leaf towards the end of the cigar (The side you would light)
Then cut straight down the cigar as if cutting the slit in a hot dog roll
Peel open the wrap and empty the tobacco/guts (tobacco is bad for you, don't smoke it kiddes)
Some peopl at this point may cut the extra wrap, with a Philles I dont. But if you did want to, use some scissors.
If the warp leave shave separated, lick them together now.
Next, put in your mix nice and even from end to end. Don't be cheap. You friend swill love ya.
next ROOOOOLLLL it tight. Start at the bottom and roll it together.
Then lick the top edge and seal it by licking the whole blunt again. You may want to add some heat from your handy zippo to seal the deal.
Tips
If it's loose, use a pen to pack your mix.
Theres and inside (the wrap) and an outside ( the leaf). The wrap will stick to the leaf but it will not stick to itself.
The process of making an apple bong is very simple. It's not a great everyday smoking technique, but a cheap and easy way to smoke. It's also good if you're going to the beach or smoking in some other place where you have a high risk of being seen (because it's easy to dispose of).
You can use any number of hard fruits or vegetables for this. You can get creative and, and when you’re done tokin, you have some food for the munchies. ;)
Supplies
1 Hard Fruit or vegetable ( I prefer apples)
1 Pen
1 Knife/key anything with a small sharp point.
Advantages: It holds your mix nicely and is easily disposed of and is biodegradable. If you are really hard up you may even want to eat it when finished. Also, apples, strawberries, cucumbers, celery, and many other choices will impart their own "flavor" to your smoke.
Disadvantages: Takes a little more practice to get right. It may rot before you are ready to give it up.
If you feel like eating the apple afterwards you might want to take the ink well out of the pen, otherwise, on the top of the apple, jam the pen in at a slight angle about halfway through the apple. Do this next to the core rather than having to make another hole through the hardest part of the apple.
If you have a knife (or key), you may want to core the apple. Be careful doing this. You don’t want to split the fruit. Also you only want to core the apple down to about ¾ of the way. If you core it all the way I find that the hole at the bottom is to big for a carb.
Next up, poke a hole on the opposite side near the bottom or middle so that it meets up with the first hole you poked or the core you just made. Use the pen for this also
Using the same technique an inch or a little more from the top hole, jam a third hole that will meet up with your existing chamber system (the core you just made). This "carb" can be essentially anywhere on the apple, but you'll want it to be convenient to cover with a finger while you're lighting your mix.
Then carve out a bowl on the top of the apple where the first hole was drilled. Make it big enough to hold the material you want to smoke. This can be done by "eating" it essentially. The best way is to carefully gnaw away with one of your sharp teeth so that it's more precise, but you can also use a key or just about anything.
Hello my fellow pot heads. So you have a bag that you want to smoke but you have no bowl or papers, what to do? We've all been there. Well this is when a smokers creative abilities get a chance to shine. A pipe can be made out of almost anything, you just need to use your imagination. Unfortunately you're all stoned and you all for get how to build one, much less get motivated to do it. So you've come to right place.

First up the Soda can pipe. Supplies
1 Soda can
1 earing/safety pin/anything with a small point.
Advantages: Very simple and easy to make
Disadvantages: The small indentation doesn't hold your mix very well, so you need to be very careful while smoking.
What you need is well any kind of can."perferably a soda can" Ok so first you take the tab that you use to open it then turn it backwards and pull up.That should make the whole thing come off withought making it sharp.
Then make a deep indent in oneside of it.And make sure it is about an inch from the other side.~don't bend outher side~Now you need to have a sharp object. This is where it get's tricky. If you're too stoned, don't try this ;) Use something like a needle or an exacto blade or safety pin ( a good one). You really don't want to mess up your mom's (or wife's) kitchen knives. But...use what you can find. You need to make small holes
Make about six wholes in the middle of the indent and make then about a centameter apart (that's a bout a third of an inch). For you guys out there, ask a girl how big an inch is, your idea of it is probably 3 times to big. ;)
Now on the side without the indent, take your safety knife and cut a small hole near the end of the can. You can also cut the hole on the bottom of the can. The Hole should be about 3 centimeters (1 inch). You will use this as your carburetor. You may want to start witha small hole and work you way up to 3 centimeters.
Now hold it on it's side (indent side up) place your mix in the indent and light up!

Ok fellow stoners. Here is one of my favorite methods for how to make a homemade bong.
I want to point out, some instructions on the net tell you to use aluminum foil (tin foil) for your bowl. DON'T DO THAT. You want to ensure that any piece that will or may come in contact with flame is metal. If not...it will suck to be you. So, onto how to make a bong.
What You need:
A plastic coke bottle ( or any 2 liter bottle)
A small piece of piping - 5/10cm
A socket from a socket set that will fit in the end of the pipe
A knife
Optional: a screen. For this I suggest that you do purchase a real screen. Available at any smoke shop.
Instructions:
Make a hole for the pipe about 1/3 way up bottle and insert pipe so pipe is bending down into the bottle.
Put the socket in the end of the pipe outside the bottle
Make a smaller hole in the bottle above the first hole
Fill bottle with water so that pipe is in water, but water level does not reach the hole.

Ok. The socket is where you put your mix (tobacco and your crumbled solid) and the second hole acts as an air-hole. When you have filled the socket with your mix, you light the mix and suck through the bottle top while holding your finger over the air-hole. To clear the bottle, either suck all the smoke out or take your finger off the air-hole and blow the smoke out. So there you have it, a simple homemade bong. And now you know how to make a bong
